Mark DeBellis, I knew from the very first Marketing course I took in college that I wanted to work in this profession. For the past thirty years I’ve worked in the sales and marketing arenas. With a B.S. in Marketing from Cal Poly Pomona (1981) and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California (1983), I’ve been fortunate to work for many great consumer brand companies (Miller Brewing, Pillsbury, Pepsi-Cola, Gallo Winery, and Sunkist Inc.) and work on behalf of many of our clients as a principal in PSB Inc. (www.psbonline.com). Today I work with an amazing staff of creatives, account managers, and production staff helping to solve our clients’ marketing challenges. I get tremendous satisfaction out of seeing our clients and employees succeed. Early in my career I held the position of adjunct faculty at several universities. I taught Marketing to both undergraduate and graduate-level classes. I enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm that exists in the college classroom and may one day return. In my spare time I enjoy staying in shape, spending time with my family, and writing music (guitar). I am a volunteer musician singing and playing for eldercare centers in Orange County. I’m also on the board of South County Outreach (Transitional Housing and Food Pantry in Orange County) and ETHS Vocal Music Boosters. I serve on the board of CU Nexus a technology solutions company to the financial industry. Some of my favorites sayings: I’d rather ask for forgiveness than seek permission. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Nothing’s impossible with God on your side. My biggest inspiration: My mother Dolores, a woman of great faith, who single-handedly raised four awesome children despite tremendous personal and life challenges. She taught me how to be an optimist and how to overcome adversity. My family: Wife Kayla and daughters Lauren and Danielle. Pets: Tiger (Cat); Raphael and Angelica (Dogs)
